February 11th & 12th
On Monday I worked at Koko Head and then Punahou coaching. Dad took Sisi to piano and then the O.club. Jay's started a weight training and leg work in the pool program for boys water polo. They might be going to Australia in the summer so they're starting to work hard right now. I am sick with a fever and sore throat. Today (Tues) I spent the morning working on tax stuff so I can get the financial aid stuff turned in by Friday. We got a preliminary offer from Vassar and it's MUCH better than last year. Looks like you're going to get at least $18,000 in grant money for the school year. I would have liked about $6000 more, but we'll see. It's good news. Love you so much. I think you should work in teaching english for the beginning of March because that's a long time to bum around. Do you want me to try to get ahold of Jenny??

Im going to call Jenny today and ask her what two week programs are available, but i dont think i want to do teaching english because i am doing it now! (free)! if i cant find a program thats okay.
in lieu of a text message today...
Mom: Sooo sorry to hear you are sick but soooooo stoked about the Vassar aid!!!!
Jay: congrats about (maybe) going to Australia!
Sierra: you and Dad made an awesome music video. you are going to be a very accomplished artist.
Dad: I may need to stay with Walter and his family in Lima in March, but I was planning on going south. Lake Titicaca is sounding good, the kind of place you spend more than just a weekend, and maybe i will cross it and stay in La Paz, Bolivia for a couple days. Depends on after i talk to Jenny Torres today. also if i arrive in Cusco early it will be good to get in touch with Palmores family connections. also i loved the Barack speech-turned-song (he is an AMAZING speaker), and i will definitely be buying Idina Menzel's album when i get back.
all: loving and missing you!
