October 2nd
I subbed 4th grade today and then went straight to water polo practice. Tutu and Papa picked up Sierra and took her to soccer practice. They've gone out to dinner with Pete and Ingrid. Sierra is practicing "math" and Jay's doing homework. Misty is laying cross-legged as I write this. You need to try to talk to the Proj-Ab office asap so that they Costa Rica people are not put off by your change of plans. Miss you mucho!!

oliver has info about the change in my plans, and we will sit down and talk about it, though i was hoping to talk to you on the phone first. may not have time today. sierras smiley paper is sooo precious to me, and im kind of upset because it got wet in last nights storm while i was on patrol. it still looks okay. aaaanyway THANK YOU FOR ALL THE BOX MATERIALS I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. especially the pillow and all the books (and of course the peanut butter). i may not be able to get pictures up today, so mom just know that we stuck the candles in the cupcakes, i made a wish, and zoe blew out all the other candles with her noisemaker. if you could tell aunty dede THANK YOU SO MUCH from me that would be great. i got another tshirt from her, and then one that says "projects abroad" suuuper cool even though it is not specific to the program.
