September 23rd

No family surf Sunday... it's not the same with you gone. Dad worked in backyard and I worked in front yard. Took Misty on a "Kaiser loop" walk and listened to the entire Wicked soundtrack, including Defying Gravity a couple of times. It's the exact length of that walk. A giant truck parked right in front of our house (at the bus stop) and sucked something out of the drainage ditch just at about the time that everyone wanted to nap. It was VERY noisy and so naps were thwarted.

everyones sleeping habits here are weird, including mine. i think im generally getting more sleep than high school though. yesterday i had a verrry long siesta, i think because i spent multiple hours in the ocean and on the beach, and the sun soaked up all my energy. im drinking lots of water though. you should look in the smart music hard drive folder thing, where i left a song by Idina Menzel. its a pop-ish version of Defying Gravity. i kind of miss the Kaiser loop, and the ability to go down to the Club for an easy workout. i have to be a little more motivated here.
i am going to try and call you guys now. if i cant get in touch thats okay i think youre all at school. hope all is well, sounds like it is (go Sunday surf anyway!!) love you guys, a LOT :)

Jay and I did the Sunday surf at Portlock, and we took a few photos that we'll share sometime.
